Subcommittee on Government Operations

The Subcommittee on Government Operations, chaired by Rep. Mark Meadows (NC-11), works to ensure that the American people have access to critical information about the operations of their government. With jurisdiction over the Department of Treasury, the Executive Office of the President, the Postal Service, the Department of Labor, and the Office of Management and Budget, the subcommittee ensures that federal agencies are open and transparent in their execution of federal law, and that Americans will be able to more effectively hold public officials accountable with the knowledge that access to information provides.
