34 Professors Urge Issa Not to Subpoena NLRB

Press Release

Thirty-four law professors wrote to Chairman Issa today urging him not to issue a subpoena to compel the disclosure of all documents relating to the NLRB’s Office of General Counsel’s investigation of Boeing’s alleged discrimination against workers’ rights.

“We appreciate your Committee’s broad oversight responsibilities and extensive investigatory powers,” the letter states. “Yet the Committee also has the responsibility to use its powers wisely, judiciously and in the public interest – including allowing an independent federal law enforcement agency, such as the NLRB, to do its job without undue interference.”
