Fallon to Hold Hearing on Unleashing Domestic Nuclear Energy Capacity
WASHINGTON—Subcommittee on Economic Growth, Energy Policy, and Regulatory Affairs Chairman Pat Fallon (R-Texas.) today announced a hearing titled “The Next Generation: Empowering American Nuclear Energy” to examine U.S. nuclear power generation and identify the benefits and challenges associated with further nuclear reactor buildout.
“We must take steps now to build out our nuclear power generation capacity to benefit the environment, stabilize the grid, and bolster U.S. national security. We look forward to a productive discussion with Biden Administration officials as we discuss an all-of-the-above approach to developing long-term power generation that is cost effective for American consumers,” said Subcommittee Chairman Fallon.
