Issa Announces GSA Hearing for Monday April 16th
WASHINGTON – House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., today announced a hearing examining last week’s General Services Administration Inspector General report, which detailed wasteful spending related to 2010 Las Vegas Convention costing nearly $823,000. In the wake of the report, GSA Administrator Martha Johnson resigned, and the agency dismissed her top deputies.
The hearing, titled “Addressing GSA’s Culture of Wasteful Spending”, will take place at 1:30 p.m. in Room 2154 Rayburn House Office Building.
