Oversight Committee Launches Innovative New Website
WASHINGTON—Dedicated to openness and transparency, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform launched a new website today, to allow the American people to quickly access information published by the Committee. This latest initiative continues the Committee’s ongoing efforts to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability in the federal government. See below for a video from Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-UT):
“Hi, I’m Jason Chaffetz. As we started at the Oversight and Government Reform Committee, we wanted to make sure that we had a new website that was maximizing our openness and transparency and relevant information that the Oversight and Government Reform Committee is looking at. We wanted to make it intuitive, quick, easy to use – so at any place, whether you’re on your phone, whether you’re on your tablet, whether you’re at the website, whatever it might be, you can access that information and see and get more insight into the government and what it’s doing or what it’s not doing.
“That’s what we’re doing with this new website.
“We hope you enjoy it.”
