Media Advisory: Oversight Hearing on Transparency in Federal Spending Tuesday

WASHINGTON-House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., has invited Recovery and Accountability Board Chairman Earl Devaney to testify alongside Nevada State Controller Kim Wallin and open government experts on Tuesday.

The hearing will focus on solutions to increasing the transparency and accountability of the federal government. It follows up on the March 11th technology subcommittee hearing examined the lack of accuracy in federal spending data.

The hearing will be webcast live at https://oversight.house.gov. Witness testimony will be posted at the hearing page as it becomes available.
