Oversight to Hold Hearing on Surplus Federal Property Disposal

WASHINGTON- Continuing the committee’s legislative oversight over the disposal of surplus federal civilian real property assets, Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, will hold a hearing Wednesday, July 27th at 9:30 a.m. to examine several legislative proposals offered this year. The committee will hear testimony from members of Congress, Administration officials, and the Congressional Budget Office.

In June, the Congressional Budget Office scored the Administration’s proposal at Chairman Issa’s request. You can read that response here.
