Chairman Chaffetz Praises Benghazi Select Committee Report

Washington, D.C. – Today, House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) released the following statement in response to the Benghazi Select Committee’s final report:

“I appreciate the tireless efforts of Chairman Trey Gowdy and the Benghazi Select Committee to uncover the truth about the attacks in Benghazi and the resulting aftermath. It is disappointing the Obama Administration failed to cooperate with the Committee. Their lack of transparency disrupted and delayed the investigation at every turn. 

“Four Americans lost their lives in the attack. Their families and the American people deserve to know what really happened. Thanks to the good work of the Select Committee, important details about that tragic night are finally seeing the light of day.”
