HEARING ADVISORY: Transportation Subcommittee to Examine Global Flight Tracking
WASHINGTON – On Wednesday, February 25th, the House Oversight and Government Reform Transportation and Public Assets Subcommittee will hold a hearing to examine steps being taken to improve global flight tracking capabilities. In the wake of the missing Malaysian Airlines Flight 370, aviation organizations, including the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), have identified new ways to better track aircraft traveling beyond the reach of land-based radar technologies.
