WASHINGTON D.C. – The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform today released “Meet Your Oversight Watchdogs: Rep. Ron DeSantis,” the next in a series of videos introducing Oversight committee members to the American people. Rep. DeSantis serves the people of Florida’s 6th Congressional District as a member of both the Economic Growth, Job Creation, and Regulatory Affairs Subcommittee and Federal Workforce, U.S. Postal Service, and the Census Subcommittee.
“This government needs to start behaving responsibly in terms of how it spends taxpayers money,” said Rep. DeSantis in the video. “We’ve seen this Administration rack up trillion dollar deficits for four consecutive years … if we continue on our current course we will have a national debt of $20 trillion when this president leaves office.”
