Motion to Cut Justice Department Salaries Passes House by Voice Vote

In response to more than a year of Justice Department stonewalling Congress and the American people on Operation Fast and Furious, the U.S. House of Representatives today passed by voice vote an amendment cutting Justice Department salaries until they fully answer questions on the failed gunwalking program.

House Approves FISMA

Oversight Advances Spending Cuts, Job-Saving Regulatory Moratoriums, and Other Reforms

The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform adopted $83 billion in deficit reduction provisions today. The taxpayer savings were adopted by the Committee to meet the goals of H. Con. Res 112, House Fiscal Year 2013 budget resolution, on a vote of 19-15.
