H.R. 2320, the Federal Improper Payments Coordination Act of 2015 Reduces improper payments by allowing the judicial and legislative branches, as well as state governments, access to Treasury’s “Do Not Pay” Initiative. H.R. 1613, the Federal Vehicle Repair Cost Savings Act of 2015 Requires the heads of federal agencies to encourage vehicle maintenance staff to use remanufactured vehicle components where such components will reduce maintenance costs. Passed Voice Link
S. 136, the Gold Star Fathers Act of 2015 Under current law, mothers of certain deceased or permanently disabled veterans receive preference in appointments for civil service positions.  S. 136 expands that preference to include fathers and unmarried parents—along with those who are widowed, divorced or legally separated.
