Chairman Gowdy Statement on Government Reorganization Plan

WASHINGTON, DC – House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Trey Gowdy released the following statement after the Office of Management and Budget released their government reorganization plan. 

“The executive branch organizational framework released by the administration today will provide valuable guidance to our Committee as we continue working to create a more efficient, effective, and accountable government. I look forward to working with Director Mulvaney and other agency heads as we evaluate the Administration’s plan to reorganize our government.” 

Background

  • Earlier today, the Office of Management and Budget held a briefing to answer questions on their government reorganization plan. 
  • Next week, the Committee will hold a hearing to examine the administration’s government-wide reorganization plan.
