Issa Announces 113th Congress Organizational Meeting, Majority Subcommittee Assignments

WASHINGTON – Today, House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) announced that the Committee will convene Tuesday, January 22 at 12:30 pm for an organizational meeting where committee rules for the 113th Congress will be approved. These rules contain no significant revisions from the committee’s rules in the previous Congress. The rules proposal for the 113th is available here.

Issa, today, also unveiled the Majority subcommittee assignments for the 113th Congress.

“This team is enthusiastic about the Oversight Committee’s mission of ensuring a transparent and accountable government for the American people,” Issa said. “These individuals will work tirelessly to identify and eliminate government waste, fraud, and abuse.”
