WASHINGTON. D.C. – House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa today made the following statement announcing a Committee Forum for Thursday that will examine how Federal policies affect innovation and job growth in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries:

“The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, the chief congressional committee charged with overseeing the federal government, has been conducting a broad examination of how problematic federal regulations have limited opportunities job growth,” said Rep. Issa. “This week we’re hearing from high-tech leaders in San Jose, the agricultural sector in Salinas, and on Thursday the Committee will host a forum and hear from job creators in the biomedical and pharmaceutical sector here in San Diego.
