Examining the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

PURPOSE:

To highlight ways for improved communication and interaction between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), localities, and the public where it conducts its work and projects.

BACKGROUND:

USACE provides engineering services to strengthen national security, energize the economy, and reduce risks from disasters.
USACE dredges waterways, and focuses on hurricane and storm damage infrastructure.
