Cybersecurity: Assessing the Nation’s Ability to Address the Growing Cyber Threat

The hearing will assess the federal government’s efforts, including current and proposed Administration policy, to improve the Nation’s resilience to the growing cybersecurity threat. The National Security subcommittee held a hearing examining the growing threat of cyber attacks in May.

FRIDAY JULY 8th
The Gainful Employment Regulation: Limiting Job Growth and Student Choice
Subcommittee on Regulatory Affairs, Stimulus Oversight, and Government Spending, Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio.
10:00 a.m. on Friday July 8th in 2154 Rayburn House Office Building.
The hearing will examine the effect of regulation recently issued by the Department of Education that discriminates in the way for-profit and not-for-profit colleges are treated with respect to federal aid and the impact the rule could have on job creation and on students, particularly minorities and women, who will have fewer educational options. This hearing will be a joint hearing with the House Committee on Education and the Workforce Subcommittee on Higher Education and Workforce Training.
