Jordan and Meadows Criticize Chairman Cummings’s Irresponsible Accusations Against Two Trump Attorneys
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH), Ranking Member of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, and Congressman Mark Meadows (R-NC), Ranking Member of the Government Operations Subcommittee, sent a letter to Chairman Elijah Cummings (D-MD) questioning his unfair and unsupported accusations in a public letter to White House Counsel Pat Cipollone that two lawyers associated with President Trump made false statements to the Office of Government Ethics.
Jordan and Meadows sent a seperate letter to Office of Goverment Ethics Director Emory Rounds requesting documents related to the Office’s production of sensitive material to Chairman Cummings.
