WASHINGTON — House Committee on Oversight and Reform Ranking Member James Comer (R-Ky.) joined “Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo” on Fox News to announce Committee Republicans’ broad probe of the Biden Administration’s energy crisis that is harming the pocketbooks of Americans and discuss Twitter’s censorship of the New York Post’s reporting on the Biden family’s influence peddling.

During the interview, Ranking Member Comer announced his requests to the U.S. Department of Energy, Department of State, Environmental Protection Agency, and the Securities and Exchange Commission for information related to the Biden Administration’s strategy to address high energy prices, abuse of strategic oil reserves, President Biden’s secret deal with Saudi Arabia to lower gas prices before the election, and the implementation of radical Green New Deal policies that drive up costs for American consumers.

On Oversight Republicans’ investigation into President Biden’s energy crisis:
“One of the biggest crises of the Biden Administration is their energy policies,” said Ranking Member Comer. “What is their energy policy? What direction are they going in? What did they base selling the strategic reserves on? What exactly did they ask Saudi Arabia when they asked to increase oil production before the election? The Democrats would call that a quid pro quo in the previous administration. We have a lot of questions with this administration pertaining to their energy policies.”

On Twitter’s censorship and the Biden family’s influence peddling:
“Thank goodness for Elon Musk, he is definitely the grinch that stole Christmas for the Democratic National Committee,” said Ranking Member Comer. “What he’s showing here is evidence that the Biden campaign colluded with Big Tech to suppress a story that we now know is one hundred percent true. The problem the Democrats should have is why were they so scared of the laptop story? The answer Maria is the laptop proves evidence that not only did Joe Biden lie to the American people about his involvement with his family’s influence peddling and shady business dealings, but also proves that Joe Biden was a part of those shady business deals.”
