Chairman Comer Announces Member Day Hearing
WASHINGTON—Today, House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) announced a Full Committee Member Day hearing on December 11, 2023.
“The House Oversight Committee has a duty to ensure our government is more effective, efficient, transparent, and accountable to the American people. At our Member Day hearing, we will hear from Americans’ elected representatives about their ideas to help accomplish this mission,” said Chairman Comer.
House Rules require each standing committee to hold a Member Day hearing during the first session of the 118th Congress to hear testimony from Members on proposed legislation and other priorities that fall within the committee’s jurisdiction.
