ICYMI: Comer Joins “Hannity,” Vows to Have Twitter Employees Responsible for Censorship of Laptop Story Before Oversight Committee

WASHINGTON—House Committee on Oversight and Reform Ranking Member James Comer (R-Ky.) joined “Hannity” on Fox News to discuss Twitter’s censorship of the New York Post’s reporting on Hunter Biden’s laptop and the Biden family’s business schemes. During the interview, Ranking Member Comer announced that every employee at Twitter that was involved in censoring the New York Post’s article will have the opportunity to come before the House Oversight Committee next Congress.

“In January, when I become chairman of the House Oversight Committee, I can promise you this: every employee at Twitter that was involved in suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop story will have an opportunity to come before Congress and explain their actions to the American people. This was a huge story. When we announced the investigation of the Biden family and references material from the laptop, many in the mainstream media said this was a conspiracy theory … We know from the CBS’ forensic audit that the laptop is legitimate, and now we know from Elon Musk there was correspondence from the Biden campaign and the Democratic National Committee to suppress this story,” said Ranking Member Comer.

“This story is just beginning … In April of this year, we requested that Twitter preserve all documents and communications between Twitter executives and the Democratic National Committee and the Biden campaign with respect to the Hunter Biden laptop story. This story is only going to grow because of what the contents are. The contents show that Joe Biden knew darn well what his family was involved in: they were influence peddling with our adversaries around the world. The mainstream media is going to have to accept that they made a huge mistake,” continued Ranking Member Comer.
