McClain to Hold Press Conference with Riley Gaines on Protecting Female Athletics and Title IX

WASHINGTON—Subcommittee on Health Care and Financial Services Chairwoman Lisa McClain (R-Mich.) along with Riley Gaines, Independent Women’s Forum Ambassador and former collegiate athlete, will hold a press conference on Tuesday, December 5, 20023 at 4:00 p.m. following a subcommittee hearing to examine the Biden Administration’s Title IX proposed rules.

Background:

Congress must do everything it can to protect women’s sports. The Biden Administration’s Title IX proposed rules redefine sex discrimination on the basis of “gender identity,” putting at risk the safety, privacy, and opportunities for women in sports. Riley Gaines will testify at a Subcommittee on Health Care and Financial Services hearing on Tuesday, December 5th at 2:00 p.m. ET titled “The Importance of Protecting Female Athletics and Title IX.”
