WASHINGTON, DC – The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform today released “Meet Your Oversight Watchdogs: Rep. James Lankford,” the sixth in a series of videos to introduce committee members to the American people. Rep. Lankford serves the people of Oklahoma’s Fifth Congressional District both as Chairman of the Oversight Subcommittee on Technology, Information Policy, Intergovernmental Relations & Procurement Reform and as a member of the Oversight Subcommittee on Government Organization, Efficiency & Financial Management.

“Our businesses are literally having to fight to advance their business against the government that’s supposed to be helping them and that’s one of the issues we’re looking at,” said Rep. Lankford in the video. “How do you begin to pull some of the onerous regulations off of businesses? The regulations are coming so fast. They’re unpredictable. They’re nonsensical. It’s this rapid advance of government into the smallest areas of Oklahoma.”
