Waste Watch: The Democrats’ Unhinged Spending Binge

Congressional Democrats and President Joe Biden are on an unhinged spending binge, proposing more than $6,000,000,000,000 in new spending. They want to spend trillions of taxpayer dollars on unnecessary, far-left priorities unrelated to pandemic recovery or infrastructure, saddling hardworking Americans with more taxes and more debt. 

Let’s take a closer look…

Democrats recently passed a massive $1.9 trillion spending package under the guise of COVID-19 relief, but in reality this Pelosi Payoff for Progressives funded liberal wish-list priorities.

THE FACT IS…

Where’s the 91% going? Democrats are spending $350 billion to bail out locked-down blue states, $50 million on climate justice, $200 million for the Institute of Museum and Library Services, $50 million for Planned Parenthood, and more. It’s the American taxpayer who is going to pay the price and economists have warned this massive spending could harm the economy.

ON TOP OF THE PELOSI PAYOFF, Democrats are pushing the budget-busting $2.3 trillion “American Jobs Plan.” The proposal is being labeled as a major investment in infrastructure, but…

Simply put, Democrats are changing the definition of infrastructure to push a radical environmental agenda. The American Jobs Plan is the Green New Deal pretending to be an infrastructure plan.

For example, Democrats are pushing to spend at least $10 billion on the creation of a “Civilian Climate Corps” which would use taxpayer dollars to fund radical environmental activists across the country. In addition, the plan calls for $174 billion in electric vehicle development which is more than the entire plan’s investment in actual infrastructure projects. 

This amount of spending does not come without consequences. The American Jobs Plan would cost American families thousands of dollars, kill quality jobs, and add trillions to the national debt. 

THAT’S NOT ALL… President Biden just recently unveiled his “American Families Plan.” The spending initiative is another whopping $1.8 trillion dollars that will dramatically expand the role of the federal government in Americans’ everyday lives.

The American Families Plan makes Americans dependent on the federal government, placing the federal government in charge rather than American families.

To offset the $1.8 trillion price tag, Democrats propose to raise taxes on American families and job creators. Even with the tax hikes, the President’s proposals would add roughly $1.2 trillion to the deficit over the decade.
